As we encourage our children to reach their fullest potential, we are mindful to incorporate and encourage skill sets that they cannot easily access in a day-to-day setting. When you send your child to a Salvation Army camp, you provide him or her with the exposure to new experiences that will not only guide his or her development, but also pride an unforgettable experience, a grand adventure.
With such varied activities ranging from ropes courses and wilderness camping to crafts and nature watches (and of course, a camper favorite - swimming), children from all walks of life are engaging in events that spark and revive the senses and offer a fresh outlook on life.
Not only is the opportunity for educational growth available, but also social growth. Children have the possibility to make lifelong friends while they are away at camp. Along the way, your child will be told of and shown the incomparable love of Christ.
