Adventure with Christ!
I promise to explore God's word and God's world to find ways to serve him and help others, to develop and guard good habits so that I will grow as God desires, and to adventure into the world with the "good news" of Jesus Christ.
Lord Jesus, help me to discover You as the Way, the Truth and the Life, and to find for myself that following You is the greatest adventure of all.
Adventure Corps is a holistic Christian Education experience for boys grades 1 - 8. Explorers is for grades 1 - 4, and Rangers is for grades 5 - 8.
The goal of the program is to help children develop positive social and communication habits and artistic flare and giftedness. This is accomplished through a Biblical worldview by encouraging Christian values and Biblical principles. We encourage physical, mental, spiritual, and social development in a safe environment for learning, developing, and caring that is age appropriate and Christ centered.
Contact your local Salvation Army for more information.
Sharing in your child’s adventure doesn’t have to cost you lots of money or time AND you both will benefit greatly for it! Here are a few questions you could ask your child:
Help them with home projects. This can be a great opportunity to spend time working together!
Do you like fishing? How about woodworking or mechanics? What are your camping and sports skills like? Be creative and ask your local Salvation Army Adventure Corps leader how you can be involved!
